Encaustics
I am currently experimenting with enhancing my oil monoprints with encaustic wax paint in order to create what I believe is a unique multi-media exploration.
The wax process mimics the physical properties of the subject in a similar way to the oil paint, amplifying the processes of the monoprinting activity.
